Tasted from a cask at St. Augustines in Vancouver BC. Brilliant, light, hoppy, complex. dwyerpg (6454) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Wonderful fresh hop aroma. Floral and citrus together. An excellent beer. Good hops but not real overpowering, If anything, this could have just a tad more strength. dirkweep (5) - USA - OCT 6, 2007 does not count
extremely drinkable with luschious hop character. Fantastic hop nose. although based on the Big Time Scarlet Fire this IPA has morphed into its own unique beer. Excellent on cask! DocLock (11105) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Bomber from Capone’s. Pours chill hazy orangy copper with 2-finger off-white head that laces well. Nose is bright tropical fruity hops, caramel malts, slicy black pepper. Tastes tropical fruity, resiny, piney, with black pepper, caramel malt, and a dry bitter and hugely IBU-laden finish. The hop varieties in this complement each other. Well made. cubs (10721) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Bottle @ home. I’ve had such good experiences with Elysian, I’m surprised I haven’t rated more by them. Lets go! Very hazy, reddish orange appearance with a fluffy, tan head that has great lacing. Huge mango, passion fruit, tropical fruity, spicy yeasty, orange citrusy, creamy, awesome aroma. Somewhat floral, orange citrusy, grapefruity, mango, pineapple, big tropical fruity flavor. Just my kind of ipa and fresh! Really delicious stuff! Fuck yeah!

Hazy copper color, off white head that thinned out quickly. Plenty of hops, mostly pine-y with a little citrus. Little bit of caramel sweetness. fiulijn (21399) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012

Golden to light amber color, with medium sized compact head. The aroma is quite powerful, fresh and fruity, with hints of caramel and toffee too. It has a very good malt and toffee flavor, dynamic, not chewy at all, with a fresh hopping, providing delicate fruits (apricot and sweet oranges), mild resins (spruce), light spices (black pepper, very light coriander).
Another good hit from Elysian in the IPA domain, notable for its freshness.
Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured an orange-amber color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was rich pine, fruity hops, floral hops, perfume, pepper and a light yeasty element. The flavor was sweet and very tangy with strong notes of pine, pineapple, pepper, lemon, herbal hops and caramel. Long finish of pine, pineapple and herbal hops. Full bodied. Excellent.
