NikkTwist (3223) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at Eulogy. Hazy amber with a large foamy white head. Quite a peppery Saison as billed but otherwise mild and smooth. Floral mix of different peppercorns. Rubbed sage. Pine needles. Wildflower honey. Spicy lemon curd. Fairly creamy throughout but a lingering pepper bite.

solidfunk (8951) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Nice. Like the pepper in this. Pours golcen clear, not much head or lacing. Aroma of some lemon also. Kindof lemonpepper feel. Some floral hops also. Leave sweet ans spicy. Low carbonation. Tap at Blue Monk.

redpooba (406) - Texas, USA - FEB 12, 2013
A cloudy amber with a medium sized whitish head. The florals are more pronounced on the nose, and the body is medium-full at the front and then becomes more subtle. The finish is a bit abrupt but it clean with a lingering carmel fruity.

Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Good god that nose is fresh, amazing peppercorn aroma. The mouth is mixtures of sweet pear spicy pepper and a long dry finish. The best food beer I can think of. I bought a growler of this man, and damn that was a good choice.

swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 31, 2013
draft at Blue monk, golden pour with pinkish/red hues. saisony sweetness, floral fruity notes & then a pretty big pepper hit. Pepper sits in the throat for a bit, but i liked this. Pepper wasn’t a horrible addition but unique. Liked it

troopie (2341) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Pepper, pepper, pepper. Cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is pepper, nothing more. Flavour is pepper, pepper and more pepper. Pepper finish. This was late in the keg, but a beer should be able to last. Pepper alone does not make a beer.

BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Poivre doesn’t showcase the pepper as well as I’d like it to. Sure you get it on the nose and in the finish yet it falls short for me. Over all it is drinkable, well made, but slightly underwhelming just like the majority of this series.

presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 2, 2012
So your mom thinks that she can discipline you by pouring table pepper on your tongue. Sounds terrible right! Yes, but for some reason it tastes amazing. Favourite sample at GABF.

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 22, 2012
GABF. Hazy yellow pour. Odd. Lots of black pepper, some christmas tree and hops. Nothing blends too well in this. Weird brew.

NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Draft at GABF. What the hell is this? Nose is menthol and peppers, cloves. Really strange nose. On tasting, it tastes like toothpaste. I can’t get past the chloroseptic and peppermint. did they dry Newport this? No. Way.
