Amber pour. Aroma has a big citrus hop note and lots of caramel/wheat thin maltiness. Flavor is kind of one note. The citrus hops hit and then not much else happens. Not a bad flavor, but could be so much more. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Caramel and pale malts on the nose, tropical fruit, some citrus and floral notes as well. Amber pour, thin bubbly head and nice lace. Flavors of dough, caramel, light sweetness, tropical fruity hops, citrus, and a hint of dank. Smooth, cask carbonation. Drink well. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Draft at the brewpub in Seattle.
Pours a hazy, dark golden orange color with tangerine edges and a 1.5 finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thick lasting ring. Streaks of lacing left behind.
Sweet citrus hop aroma with a strong topical fruit presence countered by bready yeast and pale malts. Lots of mango, papaya and orange peel along with some grapefruit and subtle earthy pine. Bready yeast and pale biscuity malts.
Medium bodied with a nice balance of sweet and bitter hops countered by a strong yeast presence and some pale malt. The yeast presence is really prominent with lots of bread and banana flavor slightly taking away from the hops. Lots of tropical mango and papaya along with pineapple, grapefruit and orangepeel. Subtle grassy, earthy bitterness underneath the sweetness. Pale malts come in toward the finish but are a bit prominent for my preference. This beer is well balanced but the hops are too tame as a result. chris2431 (241) - Oregon, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Draft @ OBF ’12. Solid IPA but nothing too special. I expected more from Elysian. Maybe next year. BK7 (805) - Turner, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2012
2012 OBF. Big citrus with a mild bitterness throughout. Well balanced with a sweet caramel background. Solid IPA finish.

Tap @ OBF... One of the better IPAs of the fest for me. Poured a pale hazy golden/orange with a white head. Hoppy and resinous. Some bitterness too. Earthy, leafy and malt sweetness to balance. Clean finish. Dryer body with a satisfying hop character. bhensonb (16106) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Tap at OBF. Pours amber with a creamy off-white head. Citrus aroma. Med + body. Flavor is very citrus and bitter. Nice supporting caramel. It finishes dry and pretty bitter. Nice drink. crackedmachine (536) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Hazy golden-orange with a thin white head. Strong citrus hop aroma, very pleasant. Flavor follows suit, tons of citrus, especially grapefruit, enough malty sweetness to keep it somewhat balanced, and a moderately bitter finish. Galaxy hops are the focus here, and along with Citra in the mix, this IPA is heavy on the fruity citrus flavors. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2012

Pint - Dark Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Big hops floral aroma. Nice grapefruit and hops flavors. This was a big malty beast and tasty.
