Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, as Elysian Slipshot Milk Stoutmcberko (19886) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2012
Black color; the head has short retention. There is a light coffee aroma; it reminds me of the Alpine grolla coffee. The coffee flavor is not pleasant, at least in this light bodied and light souled beer, with dry and weak mouthfeel, some roasted malt, coffee grounds, ordinary bitterness.
22 oz. bottle, pours near-black with a small tan head. Aroma of espresso, burnt roasted malts, not much else. Flavour of espresso, light roasted malts, and some light lactate qualities. Pretty light-bodied, though the espresso is quite potent. Light-bodied for a stout, but decently well-made. Quite good. Oakes (19434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2014
Dark brown, earthy chocolatey, smooth roastiness, the aroma is actually quite appetizing, with that earthy Victrola coming out quite a bit with its nutty, earthy overtones.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Extreme coffee aroma. Nearly full bodied. Flavor is very coffee with light lactose milkiness. Smooth burnt malt is rather obscured by the coffee. Finish is not quite dry, but close enough. Ratman197 (15636) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 14, 2012
