on tap somewhere in Washington DC; amber color; citrusy, hoppy aroma; citrusy hop flavor; the orange is not very evident, it just enhances the citrusy hop character of the beer

12 oz via bottle. Orange zesty, mild hop bitterness, light grainy and cereal-like malts. Average body. Decent overall.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a rich orange aroma. Taste was rather disapointing. Lacked any true flavor, and was watered down. This beer was more like malted water with added orange mixture.

Orange colored pour with a white head. Awesome mix of good juicy hops and some really welcomed orange flavor. Quite a tasty beer.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is well hopped. Thought I would get more of the blood orange but the hops are here in a big way. Flavor is or course hoppy but then comes that blood orange to make it even more of a citrus blast. Finish is dry but also a bit bitter and tart. This was a darn fine beer, more hoppy than I thought but the oranges are here as well.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate fizziness. Sweetish, apricot and peach aroma, with a touch of floral hop. Flavour had plenty more citrus character, crisp malts and a dry finish. Good.

Bottle, orange/amber beer, big sudsy white head, great lacing. Aroma is sprucy/onion, and grapefruit. Taste is pale malt, faint grapefruit, some orangey juciness. Palate is smooth, but light, carbonation moderate.

4 oz pour from tap into a cylindrical tasting glass at the brewery in Seattle. Light orange and hazy with a light white head. Nose is sweet and pleasant orange. Medium body, crisp, and creamy. Really nice, kind of a thicker pils body. Taste is great. A solid, but not obtrusive, malt backbone, with nice hops bitterness up front and tasty blood orange citrus throughout. Leaves a little orange on the tounge, like taking a bite out of the fruit. I could see myself drinking this on a hot day at home or in the sun at the beach.

Draft. Colored like apricot skin, moderately hazy, with a fuzzy white head that recedes quickly. Bright orange peel and grass in the nose -- very hop and citrus-focused. Funky orange juice and a distinct cracker malt note emerge as well. Orange pith and sharp hops lead the flavor, followed by citrus juice, with an acidic bite. A shot of honey balances out the finish, but it leans bitter overall -- a bite of orange that gets some pith. Medium body, soft and smooth. Carbonation is pretty high, nearly painful. Lingering orange acidity. A nice display of orange flavor, with citrus additions that make it drink almost like an IPA.

The acidity from the blood orange is fairly noticable and makes for an unusual mouthfeel. Fairly heavy malty mouth. Decent bitterness. Nice stuff.
