Bottle. Blood orange, biscuit malt, and orange peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large light tan head. Lightly sweet orange biscuit malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Body a bit light. Okay - not very fruity. trapped (3150) - New York, TURKEY - JUN 21, 2017
Draught @ Malt & Mold. Hazy dark orange foamybwhite head faint citrus aroma high carbonation medium bitter orange peel taste thin body ling medium bitter finish. The blood orange sweetness was not there but still good. tricksta_p (4670) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2017
Bottle from a supermarket in Brookings, Oregon. Aroma is citrus, blood orange, hops, with mild notes of tropical fruit and pale malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. The added blood orange blends really well with the hops. A citrus pale done right, drank this overlooking a beach which is the right setting for this beer. theshmoo (6) - - JUN 17, 2017 does not count
Bottle pour, good head and lacing. Balanced nose, coriander and orange. Nice flavor with a minimal aftertaste.

Meh, nothing special here. Too pale for me and nothing outstanding besides a nice label.

A hazy copper beer with an off-white head. Smells of citrus and fresh bread. Tastes of grapefruit, juicy blood oranges, some biscuit, toasted grains, and some light floral hops. Bittersweet, fruity finish is quite juicy. Thick mouth feel. Like a hoppy orange creamsicle. Delicious and refreshing. A pleasant surprise. BigBeer45 (1534) - Michigan, USA - JUN 9, 2017
Bottle served in a glass,
this pale ale was a medium orange color in the glass, there was some haze,
pouring this beer made a nice one finger white cover, and there was nice lacing,
this drink had aromas of citrus hops, blood orange, orange pulp, light toasted malt, a little bread, fruit and malt sweetness,
there were flavors of blood orange, grapefruit citrus hops, some malt, a little acidity,
fruit and malt sweetness,
the finish had a less than medium hop bitterness and some fruit citrus, fruit flavors followed,
the mouth feel was a light medium, it was creamy and had soft to average carbonation,
it was a nice drink. drsordr (2662) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle drank riverside in Fairbanks AK pour avg gold with moderate white head. Nose citrus, resin, and light dank. Taste light bitter up front, then blood orange, citrus, resin, and some balancing sweet malt. meccahh69lol (226) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - JUN 7, 2017
Here is a solid, but uninspiring fruity hoppy bev from the solid, but oft just fine brewery Elysian. It pours a nice reddish amber with a light head and has a nice dry plummy orange smell that promises nice things. The taste is a smooth, kinda watery light hop chugalug with just enough backwash dryass blood orange lurking in the aftertaste to keep it interesting. A solid drinkable APA with an above average fruitiness level. Good for capping off a night of beers and pitaziki on the old Ivy League’s dime with some death metal and dresses. mjmoen (538) - - JUN 6, 2017
