Draft at eastbound bar and grill. Orange and hops on the aroma. Deep orange color with decent head and lacing. Flavor was more orange and too much bitterness I wasn’t fond of.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2016 On tap and revisited with a 12 oz bottle in July 2016. Hazy amber body with a good looking head. Medium-light body with soft, medium carbonation. Attractive, citrus hop dominated aroma and flavor. Just the right level of bitterness for style. Body is a touch too thin.

My bottle says 6.4% ABV, not 5.4%. Non descript aroma of wheat, pale malt and not much else. No hop presence in the scent for a pale ale and they should have used blood orange to a greater extent. Hazy orange with a white head. Incredibly drinkable, very light, only a slight tinge of hops at the end, and I am still wondering where the blood oranges are, but it is a nice flavor. Great palate. Low carb, dense and smooth. I would categorize this as above average bordering on good, with the extreme drinkability as its best characteristic. It would be good for people who you are trying to introduce to craft beer.

On tap at the Elysian near Pike’s Place. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Soft musk and a bit of orange on the nose, but I’m certainly searching for it. Medium bodied, soft malt, a bit of musk, a touch of orange and dusty yeast. Soft musk, a bit of citrus. Dull, but decent enough.

Nice beer. The orange is not too overpowering. Great summertime beer with some decent strength. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Interesting and different. Orange flavor not overpowering and a hoop undertone. Not terrible but a bit off the wall

Bomber - pours a murky somewhat thick orangey amber gold with suspended particles and a thin white head. Nice fruity aroma of oranges, wheat and citrus mix. A fruit driven pale with citrus and tropical hop notes with hints of fruit juices. Not too sweet...mild bitter component

On tap at 40 Brews. It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was of bitter citrus and some earthy grains. The taste was similar to the aroma with some sweetness, bitter citrus, earthy grains and a hint of light fruits. Nice.

12-ounce bottles in a pint glass. Based on the name, I was expecting a pale ale with orange. Instead I got what was pretty much an IPA. Why bother putting orange or other flavors in it when the harsh hop flavor overpowers everything else?
