3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber pours a yellowish orange color with a medium white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of orange, citrus, and pine. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with an odd sour funk in the back end that makes it wierd. I?m assuming its the blood oranges used. Mouthfeel was medium with pretty good carbonation. Overall this pretty good initially, but the sour funky bitter aftertaste you get isnt very appealing. I like the blood orange beer they brewed for the Beers of the Apocalypse series way better. I hope they tweak the recipe a bit. Definitely different from most pale ales I?ve had.
From the bottle into a St. Bernardus glass: Murky orange with a half inch of white foam. It smells of orange, grass, biscuit. Flavor of gently sweet orange and super earthy, grassy bitterness. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Orange and grass nose, not strong. Cloudy amber, chunks, thin head. Pencil shavings, orange, clay. Full body, easy carbonation. Tastes old and stale. Bottle is undated, but I only recently noticed this on the shelves. JohananaV2 (155) - - JUN 30, 2017
I really liked this beer, it was fruity, you can taste the subtle orange flavors. I really want this on tap cause I'm sure it would be that much better

On draught at Old Chicago.
Cloudy orange, an inch of foam.
Smells fruity, yeah citrus as in blood orange. Light pine as well.
Crisp flavour of blood orange, other citrus. Kinda 1 dimensional and mehish.
Refreshing at best. Brettsky06 (443) - Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 24, 2017

12 oz. no bottling date evident. Foggy orange-amber pour with lots of bubble activity that sustains a quarter inch of foam. Nose of fresh orange, resin, garlic and a bit of caramel. Flavor starts of the same mix but quickly turns to more garlic, wood and some peppery resin that combine to nearly overpower all else. Mild toast and caramel notes manage to peek through at times. Light-medium body is soft with a mild astringency. Medium-high fizz and a long bitter finish. Finhead (1757) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2017
A cloudy, orange-red pour with a white head. The aroma is mainly pine hops. It has a medium body with slightly oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a long finish. ehaak26 (518) - - JUN 22, 2017
