Tap @ La Jolla Brewing, La Jolla.
Pours golden color with a medium head. Orange and paper malts on the nose, hops and some grassy notes. Blood orange bitterness on the flavor, gooseberries, hops and pale malts. Decent.

Tap at Scion Silver Spring. Muddier dark orange pour. Weaker white foam with some okay lacing. Nose is softer orange juice, mild citrus hops. "Blood orange", a flavor I love, did not really hit me. Taste again is quite soft, no abrasive bitterness, no acid from the blood orange, restrained citrus hops. Quite drinkable, simple, no flaws. Clean palate. My qualm is that it came across as bland, not a lot of APA character and nothing that screamed blood orange.

12oz bottle, which I believe I got from AKA Frisco’s in Frederick.. Clear orange yellow color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Nice orange citrus, some biscuity bready hop, light bit of vanilla. Really nice, but subtle malt bill. Works well. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet, kind of zesty. Medium body. Super smooth. Good smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Super awesome texture to this, very refreshing, crisp, and drinkable. Much better than expected. Tasting very fresh.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head. A nice nose of oranges, dry husky malts. Sweet, bigger Amarillo, oranges, bitterness throughout, more earthy dry malts. I guess my only complaint is that the Munich especially is getting in the way here, too dusty and earthy to be as clean as it could be. But overall this is solid.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and citrus flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and citrus lingers with light pine and light earth.

Pour on tap at OB HMLS, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, grapefruit, orange peel, hints of biscuit, bread, hints of spice into a bit of slight floral notes. Taste is a mix of biscuit, caramel into a bit of orange, orange peel, some orange juice, hints of earth, spice and floral notes.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a short head. Grassy and resinous American hops with acidic citrus pulp. Medium body, medium sweetness with assertive bitterness and acidic grip. Malt is thin and shaky, carbonation doesn’t do much, it ends up smelling like a humid brewery: raw and grassy and minty toothpaste hops, with equally raw and grainy malt, there’s your Cracklin’ Oat Bran cereal, now that you’ve brushed your teeth, have a glass of orange juice with your cereal. Drink this stuff for breakfast at least, to get the true effect.

9/9/16. On tap at Taphouse, Savannah. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Okay aroma, light citrus, pale malts. Better flavor, tropical fruits, pineapple, blood orange, dank, just enough malt to back it up. Tasty.

downender (9008) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2015
Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate fizziness. Sweetish, apricot and peach aroma, with a touch of floral hop. Flavour had plenty more citrus character, crisp malts and a dry finish. Good.

12oz pour at City Taphouse DC. Very hazy gold with some lacing, white head. Nose has a lot of citrus peel, a little potpourri, oranges, tangerines, some grass, a little flower pollen. Flavor is fairly well balanced, lightly sweet, light honey, bright orange juice, some nectarine. A bit too watery.
