Bottle shared. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. Juicy citrus and pine. Sweet. Moderately bitter. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Nose dank and piny with smooth citrus and lots of juicy blood orange, some caramel. Pours a gradient golden with a creamy white head. Medium bitterness, a little rubbery, medium body but thin and flat (not so much in carbonation texture but in being one continuous sheet), theres citrus here, even getting into tangerine and and grapefruit and orange rind/pith, but the overall flavor just generally doesnt agree with me.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is cereal and biscuit malts, orange, floral hops, and light toast. Flavor is balanced dry, bready malts and light hop bitterness with some light fruit esters and a touch of spice; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

RBSG 2016 grand tasting. Pale, with IPA aromas. First is is what else? IPA. But hey, I see its supposed to be an APA. Id say we are definately in the IPA territory fer sure. Ubiquitous IPA effects all round. Terribly on style for an IPA, if it was one. Long bitter chewing on green greapefruit rinds mixed with pine tar and spruce needles finish. Cant really identify the blood orange in this.

On tap at Brewski 030814. Very cloudy in the glass with a tiny head that is there one minute and gone the next. More grapefruit than blood orange in the flavour but it is still quite tasty.

The acidity from the blood orange is fairly noticable and makes for an unusual mouthfeel. Fairly heavy malty mouth. Decent bitterness. Nice stuff.

Poured an amber color with aromas of hops, citrus, light orange, and some bitterness. Flavors were light malt followed by some citrus and feint blood orange. A little disappointed here wanted more blood orange to come through.

Growler. Pours slightly hazy golden-amber with a thick eggshell head. Aroma offers citrus, hoppy and malty notes. Flavor delivers plenty of hops and orange character, almost more IPA than PA, while fresh malt plays a supporting role. Mouthfeel features typical body and fizz. Good for taking the edge off a sweltering day - and were going to have plenty of those because climate change is REAL!

Terrific beer good blood orange flavors and colors. This was a very nice beer and the finish was dry. Light golden pale color hazy with a thin head.

Tap. Amber with small head. Nice pale ale, but no detectable blood orange.to me.
