This beer is on tap at Jean Bonnet.Very cloudy reddish amber, not much head, the orange really comes through and a nice clean bitter finish. Very nice.

Transfer from BA review on 5-5-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – Pours a hazy orange color with a slight copper tint. Upon pouring there is a one finger white head that has a good level of retention. The head slowly fades over time to leave a great level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell - The smell is big of a grainy like smell mixed with an orange citrus as well as a grapefruit hop like aroma. Mixed with these smells are some other lighter fruit aromas as well as a little bit of a grassy aroma. Taste - The taste starts with an tangerine and bready flavor with a fair amount of graininess. The tangerine flavor remains, but seems to dry out as the flavor continues growing much less sweet and more bitter as the flavor advances. One of the reasons the flavor bitters and dries as it advances is that a grapefruit hop flavor begins developing more toward the middle of the taste. This grapefruit hop grows stronger till the end of the taste, mixing with a more grainy flavor as well as some notes of a grassy and herbal nature to leave a drier hopped citrus and grainy flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel -The body of the beer is light with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both are very fitting for the tangerine and grainy flavors of the brew producing a refreshing beer overall. Overall – This was an interesting one, as it was much more bitter and hoppy then I was originally expecting. I was expecting a wit like brew and got something of a wit-IPA blend. While it was not what I was expecting, it was rather tasty and is well worth a try if you get the chance.

Aromas of blood orange, grapefruit, citrusy hops and a touch of pine. Pours a hazy golden/amber with a minimal white fizzy head. Taste brings forth stronger notes of hops and pine, with slight orange and grapefruit in the finish. Pretty solid citrus pale ale

Rating #1086 - May 19, 2014 - #mondaynightbeers @RevolutionYEG. Dark amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrus, lemon, and orange. Taste is a blast of citrusy sweetness, tempered by an explosion of hoppy bitterness, drying out the finish, but leaving the palate demanding another sip. Balanced, and extremely drinkable - supah legit.

Pours bright orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus (mainly orange), tropical fruits, pine, and some light bready malts. Taste is pretty same to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, slightly dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty tasty, refreshing APA that features blood orange pretty nicely.

Nice beer. The orange is not too overpowering. Great summertime beer with some decent strength. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Here is a solid, but uninspiring fruity hoppy bev from the solid, but oft just fine brewery Elysian. It pours a nice reddish amber with a light head and has a nice dry plummy orange smell that promises nice things. The taste is a smooth, kinda watery light hop chugalug with just enough backwash dryass blood orange lurking in the aftertaste to keep it interesting. A solid drinkable APA with an above average fruitiness level. Good for capping off a night of beers and pitaziki on the old Ivy League’s dime with some death metal and dresses.

Pours up a hazy orange color with a thick white head, that reduced and left some nice lace. Nice mild orange and orange peel aroma. Flavor is sweet blood orange, with a light, vanilla. Creamy body....nice fresh citrus notes. Quite good.
