Fantastic citrus aroma. Wonderful balance for a fruit beer, tangy with some hoppy bitterness to remind you you’re drinking beer. If you like citrus, you’ll like this. seanord (5) - Renton, USA - AUG 31, 2013 does not count
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2013 Surpisingly decent color, but very subtle so could be overlooked. Caramel undertones in the aroma work against its summer beer persona. With the citrus profile, makes an excellent change up for a long evening session beer. BrewProfessor72 (4) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 20, 2017 does not count
Bottle, beautiful opaque orange unfiltered. Scent of mango scone . Slightly tart balanced with just enough sweet spicy fruit , perfectly bubbly , mild yet complex hop, clean refreshing finish . Easy to go through if few pints of this one pretty quickly . DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Hazy yellow gold, thin qhite lacing. Medium bitter orange aroma. Flavor is spot on-blood orange with a crisp palate and great bitterness. More like a hoppy pale ale than a fruit beer. No sweetness or saccharine at all. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 3, 2013
A fun summer pale that works! Pour is more hefe like in its cloudiness. Primary flavor note to me is more grapefruit than orange, over a pale base that provides a nice foundation. Tanginess lingers. A refreshing session at 5.4%! B+

Pours hazy amber with a large head.
Nose shows sweet malt with cookie dough characters, a faint blood orange note and some soft spicy/floral hops.
Same sweet malt and cookie dough as flavours along with a sweet note from the blood orange. A fair bit of hop bitterness in the finish along with spicy and earthy hops. Very drinkable. Mickymse (16) - - MAY 18, 2013
Bitter, slightly hoppy. Citrus quality stands out in the flavor, and is prominent in the aroma. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle from Logan Twp Giant Eagle. Pours a gorgeous, hazy orange with a huge, frothy white head. The nose is dominated by citrus hop notes, orange and lemon, cat pee and grass. Watery mouthfeel with lots of hop flavor, lemon orange and herbs, Not overly bitter, but chock full of hoppy goodness with out going overboard. Yummy. ABBeerSnob (12) - - MAY 19, 2014
A very descent ale that was as cloudy as it was citrusy. Minimal carbonation after pouring it into a glass. The funky bottle made it stand out on the shelf and was well worth the gamble. Pastor (799) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - JUL 3, 2014
I really enjoyed this pale ale. the blood orange added a great dimension to both the flavor and the aroma. The sweetness help balance out the hops. if it was distributed closer to me I would buy a couple six packs for the summer
