Bottle, picked up for $4.39 in Bozeman, MT. Hazy golden-yellow pour with a smallish white head. Spotty lacing. Nose is sweet with citrus hops and suggests the sweet citrus notes of lemonade. Good flavor from the blood oranges; a nice balance of citrus zest to the ‘fruitiness’ of the orange. This reminds me of fresh grapefruit, in addition to the blood orange. Mild, lingering bitters in the tail. I like this… I can’t believe how quick I emptied that glass. More please!

Bottle at Imazato. Elysian superfuzz has a great blood orange hoppy aroma. It pours a gleaming gold pour with a wonderfully fruity hoppiness. Medi bodied with a soft pillowy mouthfeel. Man this is a solidly delicious pale ale.

I had this one at Thirsty’s, Market Street in York, PA. This is one place I simply forgot about until last night (and a police escort too, lol) On tap in a simple 12 oz. plastic cup - I was waiting for them to make my supper.) It poured cloudy orange, one finger frothy, near white head which laced and retained quite well in plastic. Aroma of caramel malts and citrus fruit. I was impressed by it’s balance but didn’t get a whole lot of blood orange from it. Light bodied, moderately carbonated and it had a nice smooth mouth feel going on in there. Finishes on the sweet side. I will re-rate this one again when I find it in a bottle. Good stuff.

Aroma is orange/fruit, citrus peel and slightly perfumed. The flavor is orange, fruit, malts and a spicy hop finish.

Bottle - loads of suspended particulate scattered throughout the murky orange pour, frothy ivory head. Aroma heavy in citrus and breads. Great flavor for the abv. Very fresh, lots of citra here, palatable acidity, celery, toasted malts.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice desne soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slight lingering hop/fruit astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.4%. Overall this is a very nice fruited American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and quite refreshing to drink; even with the increasing bitter/drying finish. Great vibrant/juicy fruit and hop flavors; with a nice balancing malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Definitely citrus orange zesty aroma. Very little head. Enjoyed beer from the tap at Elysian restaurant across from century link. A good summer beer when you're not in the mood for a IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange pour from 22oz bottle at home. Grapefruit and tangy aroma. Smooth fruity citrus taste. Slightly bitter with mild hops. Easy drinking and good

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2014 On tap at Hops Northwest in New Westminster. A good one for sure. More notes to follow. Apologies in advance.

And July 25, 2014 at The Tangent in Vancouver. A murky orange beer with white head. The blood orange infusion is self-evident and that in a good way. Just enough hop and malt to distinguish it from a fruit cooler. A nice summer refreshment. 3.8.
