Aroma is sweet, like a barleywine but with notable pumpkin character. Poured on tap, it has a copper color with a white head. Flavor is a clean pumpkin ale with a syrupy sweet barleywine body.

Draft 10 oz pour at Elysian on Capital Hill. They have a ton pf the pumpkin beers still on tap, because they are "trying to get ride of them." I’ll happily help this cause. Pours a bright bronze color with a thin patchy head. Is there such thing as bright bronze? This isn’t the most obvious beer when it comes to pumpkin. If I didn’t know better I probably would have thought it didn’t have it. Maybe a little bit. Definitely spice. Malty forward aroma. Huge graham cracker, cookie like flavor. On tap at The Mayor of Old Town. Clear copper appearance with a white head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, alcohol, vanilla, light pumpkin and light spices. On tap at GABBF. Pours a mostly clear copper orange color with a small white head. A big fruity spicy nose. The flavor is sugary base, fresh fruit, maybe some pumpkin or others spices, light bitterness. Very sugary sweet. Good.

On tap. Clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malt with distinct vanilla, toffee, and a little bit of cinnamon. Flavor is caramel, toffee, booziness. Not a ton of pumpkin. Some clove and boiled down malt here. Manages to pull off hybrid aroma, sitting in the middle of both styles. But still not wonderful either way. Finishes a little sweet. Pours maroon with OK head and lacing. Thanks to Travlr for a taste of this at Scion, draft.
