Pours a clear, golden-copper, with smallish head. Aroma is grassy, with some hints of hops. Flavor is also quite grassy, with just a touch of hops in the background. Nothing too noteworthy here. Kind of a surprise, really. I guess I was expecting more from this brewery.

Bottle 12fl.oz. poured into a teku glass. Strong resinous nose; clear medium amber, small frothy off-white head, diminshing slowly, light lacing; rich aroma, toasted malts, caramel, pomelo, orange peel, light pine, hop resin; smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, bitter orange; dry bittersweet aftertaste, piney and herbal notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; very nice.

Darwenus (1068) - Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2017
Deep golden in color with a lot of foam that hangs around for a long time. The aroma is mild but there is some bitter hop character and a little bit of autumn squash and mustiness. The flavor is mild malt and then a very average wash of west coast hops. This isnt bad.

Hazy, light amber. Medium to full body, dense flavor, clean and refreshing mouthfeel, good length. Bitter, dry, crisp. Very assertive but simple hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nearly clear dark gold pour with a one finger, creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, citrus, tea, cereal, toast and dank. Flavor is citrus, black tea, mineral notes, apples, bitter citrus, herbal and wildflower notes. Light to medium body, medium blanketing, sharp carbonation. Good stuff.

This is a really nice English styled IPA with an American hop twist. Great British malt backbone full of toffee and nuttiness. Floral, lightly fruity, and piney at the same time. Pours amber with a strong frothy floater of a head. Tons of lace. This beer does a lot of things right.

Golden, frothy head. Very fresh, very light but hoppy aroma. Very floral. Smooth carbonation, not super bitter but very pleasant. Mixing classic and modern ipa styles. Nice brew. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bire)

Bottle at home. An American take on an English IPA and it certainly tasted like one. A strong bitterness and a rather nice mouthfeel that came from the malts. I can get much better English IPAs from England.
