Interesting murky orange pour w/ a white head & some lacing. The aroma had some dark fruit notes w/ some hints of belgian spice. The taste has just a slight fruitiness to it w/ an underlying bite. It’s unique & fairly complex. Worth a try! andrewje41 (4258) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Draft pour at the Tangletown location. Interesting to see how big of a swing this beer has on ratings. I try to avoid looking at ratings before I complete mine, but this one caught my eye. Pours a thick milky orange color with a soapy bubble head. Speaking of soap, the aroma has it. Soft fruit. Flavor is tropical, with banana, pineapple, apple, and mango. I’m no major plum eater, but this was less than obvious it had it. Thick body, tasty unique sour. Fun beer. beastiefan2k (4111) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - MAY 13, 2015
At Tangeltown but brewed at Cap Hill apparently. 6% abv version. Very hazy, dark hay, no clarity but a long long lasting head with more lacing than any of the hoppy beers. I swear I smell plum on the nose. Real plum, not the stuff I get on malty Belgian beers. That in itself is an accomplishment, never actually tasted that in other plum beers. Phenolic Brett on nose as well. Flavor has plum as well and a lightly drying very herbally Brett finish. Nit sweet, thicker mouthfeel than expected. I like the smell but the drying Brett finish is a bit off putting for a plum beer. ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 25, 2015
Brownish red appearance. Little head, slick mouthfeel with medium body. Sour apple tartness. Tried at the bier baron in DC in 2015. Mjp12 (2031) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2015
File in interesting! Some sweet fruit flavour, and a touch of Brett freshness.

murky jay orange, thick cream ring. Sugary Apple candy, caramel heavy, gritty sour apple juice. Flavor more apple juice up front, caramel esters growing mid, peppery and faintly metallic through the dry, full finish. Filling and overwhelming at the end with lights oxidation sweetness in cardboard.
@ Elysian Cafe. Cloudy ugly tan and no head. Aroma has light brett, hint of plums, and a wheaty body with a touch of pale malts. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Sour loving wife ordered this draft at Maxs Taphouse in Baltimore, served in a sample glass. Amber hued golden color with white head. Aroma notes of fruity yeast, light plum, faint citrus and wheat malt sweetness. Taste adds faint sourness, toffee, more plums and light funk. Light body, medium-low carbonation, sticky with herbal finish. Not bad but not great, interesting though. BrewBoxer (2664) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Draft at Clinton hall NYC. Pours a blonde yellow gold color with a fluffy head that fades. Not as sour or fruity as I expected. More like a boddington slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2014
"more of a wild/sour type.enjoyed this cool unique beer as well. it wasn’t just another "throw some brett in the tank type beer". i’d have been eager to have a version of this beer without the brett to compare. it was light but very complex. the plums were a nice touch, and the hopping level was just right. good stuff."
