Shimmering copper. Swirled mixture of creamy foam and medium sized bubbles slowly forms chalky rocks. Peppy, slightly airy nose of fresh bushy hops, perfume, glazed pine, and roasted nuts beneath a buttery caramel drizzle. Fluffy, fairly loose bubbles. Elegant showcase of soothing, palate-coating caramel and nut notes. Background of subtle cinnamon esters with a rounded tropical fruitiness that energizes the rich pine. Fabulous house character. Phenomenal balance, yet sneakily hoppy and bitter, throughout. Tight bitterness of pine needles buttresses the endless malt lushness. Perfect level of airiness briefly counteracts the hops and makes way for a richly malty engulfment nuanced with orange rind and flowery hops. Piney bitterness and minty hop flavors persist into the finish amid a chewy, continual thrust of caramel and assorted nuts. This pushes the envelope as far as it can go, ESB-wise, and does it all without jeopardizing its to style nature. Off the cask, this would be heavenly, and dare I say, even more magical.

Bottle Pours a redish copper with a nice dense off-white head. Aroma is a nice blend of hops and malts, a bit of citrus and slightly woody. Flavor is a fairly strong, bitter hoppy bite. This is balanced with some carmel, malt and dark roasted grain and a neglegible alcohol taste even at 6+% Feel is nice and rich. Quite smooth actually. Lingering hops and slight wood or cardboard aftertaste.

This has a heavy caramel, slightly lemony nose; very earthy, a tad biscuity, and pretty flavorful overall, pretty well bittered and quite balanced; slightly dry finish and full bodied. I likey

slighyl hazed copper body topped by an off-white head. Odd hop choices for the style, but not bad. Piney and grapefruity with a crisp caramle finish. Medium body.

[email protected] American style ESB, lots of aromatic pacific north west hops. Some toffee apple in there, with a tangy hoppy finish, a little bit earthy aswell. Not bad.

Ruby pour light head and some lace. Lightly roasted malts, bitter hops, with citrus and some pine. Bitter hops, sweet malts, some caramel hints in the flavors. Nicely balanced between the malts and hops. The palate is fruity and hoppy and the finish is a touch bitter. I find this beer to be fairly well balanced. But thats my opinion and I could be right.

Ruby orange, firefly colored with lots of lacing & sticky head. The aroma is citrusy with hops and sweet maltiness. The flavor is moderately bitter with some good caramel malts & a scosch of pnw bitterness. Light diactyl in the tail & finish. Not bad, good esb, seems too bitter and unbalanced though.

Golden amber. Attractive hop aroma. Malt is caramelly sweet, but mostly mundane. Unbalanced toward bitterness. Somewhat reminiscent of Rogue YSB.

Deep amber, excellent clarity, cascade aroma, very hoppy for an ESB (more like an India Brown Ale). Balanced on the side of bitterness.
