On Tap At Elysian Fields Seattle. Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a cream white head. Aroma was of spice, wheat, and some floral notes. Taste was a little odd there was the malt and grain. But some vinegar and garlic almost. Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 20, 2008
Guest beer on draught at the regular Elysian 1221 E. Pike Street brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of powdered multi-grain malt, some orange zest, and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is slightly fruity, light to medium bodied, with flavors of wheat, roasted nuts, orange zest and a touch of lemon. Finish is semi-dry, lightly fruity with a mild and light bitterness. killjoy966 (677) - Washington, USA - JUL 10, 2008
Not a big fan of hefeweizens, but this "American Wheat Beer" was rather tasty. Much more of a bitter bite in comparison to its German counterpart. Not much of a smell (possibly due to congestion on my part). after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 7, 2007
Draft at the Elysian Fields brewpub. Pours cloudy orange with a medium, rocky off-white head. Plenty of lace. Nice fresh, floral, lightly soured wheat nose. Medium body, lightly tingly, lemony attack. Clean bready mid-palate with some lemon that carries through to the finish. Delicious.
