From tap at Church Key. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white and lacing head. Aroma is dry grassy, light malty presence. Smooth light malty and vague citrusy flavoured. Mild bitter and dry into the finish. Simple. omhper (25243) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 21, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark golden. Sweaty fruit aroma. Dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some raisiny grains.Generously hoppy with notes of mango and papaya. Salty, bitter finish with a metallic edge. It’s striking how many good American brewers that completely fails making a decent pilsener. Instead of even trying to achieve the desired malt character they throw in loads of hops, presumably in hope that noone notices the flaws. fiulijn (20604) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 16, 2012

Blond color, with good head. Quite nice malt and cereals aroma. Decent malt flavor, with good bitterness level.
Quite solid Lager, although missing some better character from hop and malt.

Clear pale golden with a thin white head.
Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus, touch of caramel.
Taste comprises cereals, zest of lemon, bready malt, light caramel, grass.
Medium bodied, fine lightly spritzy carbonation, crisp and refreshing in the execution.

On tap at Elysian, Seattle. Gold colour with thin white head. Nice hop on aroma, bit of lager malt. Ooh that saaz flavour, I just don’t like, but it’s not stale and that crispness on the end is good. Competent, well put together. Saazy pilsener with great hop finish. Good pilsener

On tap at Elysian Tangletown, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grass, straw and cereal malt. Flavour is dry and crisp, with crackery malt, straw and some grassy hoppiness on the finish. Clean and nicely made, but nothing special. Aggressively bitter. Interesting citrus taste, from continental hops? Sure, what the hell. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 26, 2004

Sample at the Pike Street location. Pours a clear golden-orange color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing throughout. Hops, yeast and malt in the nose. Light-bodied and effervescent with flavors of zesty hops, malt and milld yeast and spices. The finish is clean and hoppy with a light peppery and spiced aftertaste. Average overall. j12601 (12601) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 9, 2016
