on tap at elysian. no wonder americans don’t like pilsners. this is typically golden, lemony, too light on the saaz and very thin AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Clear golden color/ white head. Mild berry sweet, bready malt aromas. medium bodied. Lightly sweet pale malt flavors with a dry spicy crisp finish. nice pils. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Bottle: Golden, light haze, moderate white head, foamy, attractive lacing with soft carbonation. Pale grassy nose, oats, subtle mustiness. Sharp grassy flavors, fairly bitter too. A fairly nice malty backside, slightly sweet, but also a touch metallic. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Somewhat bitter finish, metallic aftertaste in the back of the throat and on the sides of the tongue. Not what I was expecting for a Pilsener. Meh... I think I like American style Pilsner like this better than European ones (Blasphemy!). Dark yellow, big white head. Plenty of hops in the nose and a crisp, authoritative finish. dwyerpg (6378) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2009
Nice dry crisp aroma. A good dry flavor, with a strong crisp finish. This is a great easy-drinking session lager. Excellent dry lager.

Light golden yellow pour with big bubbles and a thin head. Aroma is a nice mix of light sweetness and Saaz hops. Drinks with a grainy sweetness and a good bitterness/grassiness. Crisp and well balanced, clean pilsner. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 20, 2008
On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin ring and film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, mild spice and herbs with an earthy and flowery hop scent. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt and some crystal and earthy hop flavors. Finish is light crisp with a mild bitterness. A nice summer pils with a crisp aftertaste. TimE (6076) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 9, 2004
Tastes more like an American wheat, but with a more hopped finish. European hops are noticable, but not full bodied enough. skortila (5970) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2010
West USA trip 2010. On tap at the brewpub. The aroma is grassy and flowery. Clear, yellow-golden coloured beer with a quite creamy, white head. The taste is bitter, bit malty and has the grassy flowery hops everywhere. Crisp with a dry end. Good pils. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Tap at Tangletown location - not really.pils-like at all - hefty body - tastes of.gingerbread, baked apples, and grassy hop bitterness - not sure what the hell they were going for, but pils would be my past guess.coming to this.blind.
