Sample at the Pike Street location. Pours a clear golden-orange color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing throughout. Hops, yeast and malt in the nose. Light-bodied and effervescent with flavors of zesty hops, malt and milld yeast and spices. The finish is clean and hoppy with a light peppery and spiced aftertaste. Average overall. Tap at BT> Pours a slight protien chill haze, with a very thin white head and very slight lacing- carbonation must have been tuned down too much. Aroma is nice at first- earthy saaz like hops, with nice nutty and bready pils malts- diacetyl is slight and comes out as it warms. Flavor is bready and toasty with tons of hops- but is almost too bitter and becomes a bit astringent. Finish is relatively clean and smooth- easy to drink despite its harsh bitterness. On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin ring and film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, mild spice and herbs with an earthy and flowery hop scent. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt and some crystal and earthy hop flavors. Finish is light crisp with a mild bitterness. A nice summer pils with a crisp aftertaste. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 28, 2009

Pours a amber gold. Small white head, sparse lacing and lively carbonation. Aromas of malts, hops and a spice that I cannot put my finger on. The flavor is of malt, tangy hops; citrus maybe, some bitter, and more of the spice. Fairly smooth with a tangy bite at the end. DrBayern (1139) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - JUL 26, 2007
Draft at Elysian on Capitol Hill in Seattle on 7/12/07. Clear gold with a medium white head, looks like a good Pils. Grainy, grassy aroma with a hint of hoppiness. Medium body, but a touch of stickiness on the palate, not quite as clean as I like to see with a Pils. Pretty decent bitterness over a light malty base, but with some soapiness in the aftertaste. Not bad, but just a little off in flavor and mouthfeel for a Pils. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - DEC 19, 2008
