0,5 l Flasche.
Big thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. Light dry background. Could maybe be a bit more hoppy. Quite drinkable. Not bad! Idiosynkrasie (8338) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2014
500ml bottle [hunted down by bartlebier, now decorating my fireplace, thanks!] Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy to macropore, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Nice, decently fresh hoppy aroma, slightly grassy and floral, minimally metallic, pale malty background. Taste is slightly floral hoppy, minimally grassy, minimally metallic, sweet-ish, pale malty basis. Typical sweet-ish South-German Pilsener. Beerhunter111 (23784) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2014

Bottle from trade with beerhunter111 - many thanks! The beer pours out in a cloudy amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of grains and caramel. Taste of stew, broth, acid, berries, hops and potatoes. Grainy hints with a dry-bitter finish. Too sour for a Pils but drinkable. Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 10, 2013
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of bartlebier. Balanced and without major flaws. Good pale malt back. Decent bitterness. I enjoyed this beer. Thanks a lot bartlebier! bartlebier (4251) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2015 50cl local Getränkemarkt, as this is considered a regional speciality but not regional enough for bigger supermarkets to carry it. - Pours a greenish grainy lager with dull head. Label mentions use of feiner Tettnanger und Hallertauer Naturhopfen, but the doses are minimal; fine and persistent Tettnang spice and pepper remain mere hint. Metallic notes in aroma and defining mouthfeel. Bavarian-style sweet lager graininess. needs more than work to become a decent pils, e.g. different recipe. Rerate: 2nd bottle drunk in full sun with a view, shining a redeeming light on this modest but, granted, refreshing and lager-style SW-DE pils. Not likely to become a house beer, though.
2nd rerate: 2.5-2.8 33cl bottle 07/2013: distinctive lingering spicy/grassy hop presence that balances out the malt astringency at slightly higher temps. Starting to appreciate this more, tastes charmingly artisanal, if still not spectacular. // rerate 50cl bottle, bb08/2015: fresh this becomes muchx crisper, tastier, Tettnang-forward, dry: hop dosage does seem to waver, but this is among the better small-batch BW Pilsners out there +0.5 // Rerates 2015, cases of this stuff: yes this has become my house Pils, and rightly so: fresh and zippy with all that is good, dry, citrusfruity and local. Superb stuff, as only so far colleague pivnizub seems to have noticed.
A golden color when poured with a nice frothy head. Definately can taste the malt and hops. Not too bitter. jaghana (6418) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - FEB 22, 2012
Bottle 50cl, from Quack-Duck thanks. A clear golden beer with medium head. Nose is hopy and grainy, aroma is very hopy with sweet malt, very nice pilsner with very interesting hops bouquet on grass and bitterness, but body is a bit less complex and malty that the unfiltered one.
