330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4%, EBU 11. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma primarly of smoked malts, hints of citrus and salt water in the background. Light bodied. Smoked malts / smoked sausage in the flavour, but much lighter than a German Rauchbier. Wheaty notes, moderately sourish notes of citrus / lemons, with a little salt, makes the beer quite refreshing. Holmen1 (6666) - Stavanger, NORWAY - APR 8, 2014

Bottle, courtesy of the brewery @ VANØ’s annual gathering 2014. Pours a pale golden body with a large creamy white head. Nose is pale malts, mineral salts, smokey cereal tones, hints of wheat and grains. Taste is smokey grains, sour lactic tones, hints of mineral salts and maize. Light body, soft to medium carbonation. Very tasty and easy-going beer, and a welcome addition to the Norwegian beer scene. More sour-variants like grodziskie, Berliner weisse and gose please! :-) Meilby (11791) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2014

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, smoked meat and salt. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and light salty. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
Sampled at VANØ annual meeting 2014. Clear golden body with a rather small white head. Relatively light aroma with a mild scent of smoked meat, sausage and some pale malt. Flavor is smooth malty with a hint of smoked meat, bacon and salt, slightly fruity and low bitterness. Medium body and average in aftertaste with smoked meat and salt. Pretty unusually, not bad, certainly interesting. I like the moderate smokiness and hint of salt. Not my everyday beer, but I could enjoy it every now and then. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2014
Bottle. It pours a clear, sparkling pale golden body under a dense, fingerthick, off-white head. There’s a light smoke hint in the aroma, some wheat and indication of sourness to come. And there is sourness in the flavor, perhaps a bit less than expected, but it’s there and it’s nice. Lemon notes, wheat and a little saltyness. Quite fruity towards the end. Thin on the palate, quite dry, with a soft and pleasant carbonation level. A refreshing and quenching lawnmowing beer. 140322 DutchDrebus (6328) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle @ benzai. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Smells gasoline, rubber, BP. Tastes salmon, sour, slightly smoked. Pretty bizarre. Thin body, soft carbo.
