Medium, stable white head over cloudy golden beer, very lively carbonated. Smoked nose, shrimps or other seafruit, fresh herbs (parsley?). Only faint smoked malt, but quite meaty all the same. Bottle, courtesy of the brewery @ VANØ’s annual gathering 2014. Pours a pale golden body with a large creamy white head. Nose is pale malts, mineral salts, smokey cereal tones, hints of wheat and grains. Taste is smokey grains, sour lactic tones, hints of mineral salts and maize. Light body, soft to medium carbonation. Very tasty and easy-going beer, and a welcome addition to the Norwegian beer scene. Robe blonde abricot, plate, très peu de mousse qui disparait très vite. Nez de fumée et de citron. Bouche très interessante : aigre, fumée, citron, épices (le saaz sans doute), un peu piquante (!?). Really enjoyable. Sour an tasty, and pretty well balanced. I guess you have to be a bit experienced to identify this one by its flavors and aromas, but once you get used to something you did not expect, its refreshing, tasty and exciting.

Medium sized beautiful equal snowy white foamy head on top of a clear yellow golden colored beer.
Aromas of smoke, sauerkraut, hints of grains, malts but not much else.
Flavour has lots of sauerkraut, some tartness, some puke, grains, asperagus, meat, light smoke, wheat, some malts, toast and herbs.
Aftertaste is very light, mainly meat, with some nuts, sauerkraut and wheat.
Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, low to medium bodied and a light watery texture.
Could’ve done a little more on the sour side, still far from bad...

On tap @ BeerTemple. Clear yellow with a small disappearing white head and little lacing. Aroma is mostly of smoked malt, but there’s also some grassy notes and light pineapple. Taste is also mostly smokey with a nice touch of acidity, grassy notes and light tropical fruits. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Fresh and refreshing. Tasty. I liked this one. On tap at the BeerTemple. Clear very pale gold pour with white head. Aroma is smoky, citrusy, lemony, a tad bready, light gastric aromas but they are quite light. Taste is light, light acidity, soured grain, lemon juice, very light mineral / salty flavor. Palate is very light with light-med carbonation. Bottled from de Molen beershop, BB 03 2015, large sample, served in a shaker. Clear golden color, medium white head leaving a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of woody smoke, slight wheat, slight bacon, soft grassy and earthy hop, some lemon. Hint of sour, slight dry, slight salty. Bit sticky palate. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. I like the bacony smoke together with the fresh almost sourish wheat. Unfortunately, the bacon becomes less and the sour notes take over in the end, although Id have preferred it the other way around.
