dojken (595) - SWEDEN - AUG 24, 2013
Trevlig frisk doft av IPAdofter. Smaken något tunn med fin karaktär. Avslutningen är en blandning av stouten och ipa olika smaker.

derBreslauer (142) - Wroclaw, POLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Dark brown color and very hazy because it has a lots of floating yeast. This does not make a good impression. In aroma there is perceptible sweetness of caramel and hops fruitiness. Moderate head with cane sugar color. Very interesting evolving taste - from the beginning of the dark malt sweetness, then smoothly passing in a powerful dose of bitterness that lasts for a very long time. After warming up it gets more coffe aroma. Average carbonation. Very interesting and good beer. [Bottle valid until 14/09]

Pyrmir (6170) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - AUG 16, 2013
330 ml bottle. Near black with a ruby tint, bright mocca head. Aroma of coffee, black malt, burn sugar and pine. Taste is similar, coffee, fresh, burnt sugars and hops.

Bottle at home 15th August 2013. Aroma is fine, taste is nice, a little too boozy at times, it is not the best black IPA I have had, would not revisit

solidfunk (9213) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - AUG 6, 2013
I’ve been having bad luck at Saint Bock this time. This is a mess. Some woody bitterness with a little hops but wood dominates. Brings loads of astringency. Pours reddish dark brown with decent lacing and not much head. Not much sense of malt, just a little burnt taste. Malt smells off, kind of skunky. Nothing to write home about. Tap at St. Bock.

PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 6, 2013
33cl bottle, shared with Mathieu87. Bought at Geers. APPEARANCE: dark brown beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: hoppy, little chocolate, liquorice. TASTE: bitterness that stays, quite roasted though. Black IPA is not really my kind of beer... I don’t get the combination of two worlds. Though nothing wrong with this beer whatsoever!
