Ulysse (453) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 16, 2016
Bread dough yeast whiff or of the bottle. Aroma in the glass is sweet and olive like. Almost no head. First in the mouth is sweet and alcoholic. Felt like a barley wine. Middle is bitter but not over the top. Roasting is last and lasting. Overall is rather rich and full on.

ArtificialCyst (680) - Szczecin, POLAND - MAY 18, 2016
Aroma: Quite stoutish aroma - coffee and chocolate, some hoppy notes also - resinous and citrusy. Appearance: Medium-sized creamy head, black liquid. Taste: Also quite stoutish, strong roastiness, coffee notes, some floral and citrus tastes (although quite weak), quite strong grapefruity biterness - very good quality, doesnt linger at all, very quick. Palate: Body is medium-high, finish is dry, carbonation is low. As a BIPA should be less stoutish.

Hopverdju (820) - BELGIUM - APR 27, 2016
Donker bruin bijna zwart bier met beige schuim. Geur: moutzoetig, iets medicinaal, rijp fruit, kruiden en spijtig genoeg wat putjesgeur. Smaak: geroosterde moutbitterheid, hopbitter, kruidig. Niet erg in balans. Medium volmondig. Weinig koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter, kruidig, droog.

fiulijn (19614) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2016
Bottle from Denman Spirits, Vancouver
Dark amber color, small head. Mild malt aroma, with light fruity esters. Good body strength; more malty than roasty, moderately sweet, with an aggressive resiny hopping.
Good beer, not the expected Black IPA, rather a strong and well hopped American Amber.

Lore (2286) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 15, 2016
deep dark brown colour, huge, long lasting creamy beige head; aroma of coffee, fruity-resiny hops, cocoa powder and some earhy, maybe leather notes; taste is rather dominated by roastedness (coffee and grains) with moderate fruity-resiny hoppyness; would be perfect if the roastedness in the taste dominated less the taste...anyway, it is still good
