Bottle at Huppel the Pub, Den Haag. Dark mahogany pour with a thin tan head and broken lace. Peaty aroma leading to a huge liquorice spicy malty bitter flavour. The bitterness hits the palate and stays there. Another Emelisse classic.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines; I dont get it really Ive had a few BIPAs now, some I think yep nice fresh hop bite that links it to an IPA. But this tastes like a decent impy stout. Pours dark black, coffee & malt aroma which is also in the taste.

Black color with nice off white head. Aroma of coffee, milk, chocolate, cream. Taste is coffee but there is something sweet in the begging that I cant put my finger on, aftertaste is quite bitter but in a nice way coffee like. Overall is different then my expectations but its nice I like it.

Det hr var en intressant l med en spretig och komplex smak. Smaken prglas frmst av malten och jsten, fr att vara en ipa hamnar humlen lite vl mycket i skymundan. Men den var rtt god nd.
