From 0,33l bottle, BBD: 09 16 Pours hazy dark brown liquid, big frothy tan head, Aroma: citrus, tangerine, exotic fruits, coffee, caramel, warming alcohol, Taste: medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter, light to medium sour, citrus, orange, zesty, coffee, malty, hopy, Palate: medium to full body, average carbonation, slick to creamy mouthfeel, long citrus bitter aftertaste, Overall: fine, enjoyed. Due to quite high bitterness and rising alcohol taste the drinkability is not prefect. Will not remember, but nothing to regret. jesperhammer (4919) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2015

Nice aroma of citrus hops, earthy and pine hops, chocate, rasins, noga and a hint vanilla and berrries! Pitch black with a big foamy off white head. Pretty bitter citrus flavours, a bit sour and pinelike. Also a bit ahorn/maple like malts. Huge bitterness and a bit resin. Bitter aftertaste with black- and blueberries. Great! Hoog kwaliteitsbier. Één van de betere black ipa’s. Wim (4160) - Weelde, BELGIUM - OCT 14, 2015

Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, dark fruit, liquorice, chocolate, orange, roasted malts, hops and citrus.
Turbid/opaque ruby/black beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, dark fruit, liquorice, chocolate and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts, hops and citrus.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The aroma is rather weak however and the beer overall could have been better.
