330ml bottle at home. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty and hoppy aroma, licorice, bready, fruity and piney. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation klm1 (1919) - Bled/SF, - JUL 9, 2015
Pours black opaque colour with tiny creamy light brown head, which quickly disappeared. Visually soft carbonation.
Aroma wthout trace of an alcohol. Prevails malty notes of caramel, coffee, cacao. Also are evident hop esters: dark fruits, plums, strawberry etc.
Flavour: Alchol note is noticable, but it is not too strong. Hop note esters of raisins, little grape, lemon, grapefruit, plums, you can also detect some herbal - floral notes of menthol, sage...Hop notes are so strong, that you hardly detect some malt note: but still you can detect malt sweetness of caramel, cacao and barley malt.
Malt swetness is medium, hop bitterness is very high. Finish is long lasting bitter and dry.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B - Black IPA). Bottle 33 cl - Batch B. AROMA: hop aroma predominant with a floral, resinous and mango aromas. very faint toasty notes with a toffee character. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and almost translucent. style average ivory head with average retention. TASTE: a combination of hop flavours with mango and piny notes, and a smooth and faint roasted malt flavour (some toffee). High bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with style average carbonation. OVERALL: a nice black IPA more on the caramelly / toffee side than roasted malts. rayaron (2071) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - JUL 7, 2015
Bottle thanks to Maakun. Deep black with big brownish head. The aroma is piney with notes of jojoba, milk chocolate and mild roasted malt, faint notes of ash. The flavor has nice hoppy bitterness, notes of herbs, jojoba, roasted malt and chocolate, lingering bitterness. Soft carbonation, creamy texture, medium to full-bodied. Very good, really enjoyed it. Bottle, pours black with a tan head. Tropical fruits, pine, resin, roast, citrus. Light sweet, heavy bitter, average carbonation, medium body. Lasting bitter roast finish. An india black ale that’s more an (d)ipa than most. Very good, not very complex.

Mooi zwart bier. Schuimkraag is beetje gebroken wit. Bier is bitter in de nasmaak. Eerste tonen zijn bitter/peperig. Smaak blijft erg lang hangen en overheerst heel erg wat niet echt prettig is. melush (4961) - SPAIN - MAY 15, 2015
Bottle 33cl / Botella 33cl.
A: Dark brown / Marron oscuro.
T/S: Hops, bitter, slightly fruity / Lupulo, amargo, ligeramente afrutado. axl (1111) - Lund, SWEDEN - MAY 11, 2015
330ml bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Dark redish-brown with tall, thick beige head. Aroma of citrus, melon and resiny hops as well as butterscotch, toffee and some light roasted notes. Initially fresh and light bitter hop flavors, sweet melon and sweeter citrus fruits, followed by caramel, toffee and some roasted malts. The aftertaste is a lasting bitterness intermingled with roasted malt notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice beer feeling more like a full bodied and well balanced "regular" (D)IPA than anything else. GSAP (768) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2015
Colour is like coca-cola: dark brown with red shades.
Aroma is like IPA and stout mixed: passion fruit, mango and rucola from the former; caramel, coffee and chocolate from the latter.
Taste is bitter and creamy, with a sweet starting note. Very nice.
