Bottle at a tasting. A black pour. An aroma of big roasted malts and citrusy hops. The roasted notes and the hops work well here. Some nice fruit with citrus. Anise was not tasted. The roasted notes come through nicely.

It is that black is not my favourite, but this beer is very likeable. Missing the carbonation.

W nosie słabo/średnio intensywnie, trochę słodkich tropikw, czekolady i lasu. Barwa ciemno brązowa, rubinowe przebłyski, klarowne, bardzo ładna, wysoka, gęsta, beżowa piana. W smaku sporo słodyczy i paloności, gorzka czekolada, kawa, karmel, rodzynki/śliwki w czekoladzie. Goryczka średnia, palona. W ustach fajnie kremowe, alco dobrze ukryty. Jak na BIPA to zabrakło w tym piwie odchmielowej owocowości. Butelka do 31.12.2017

LearninBeer (558) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JAN 22, 2017
The aroma is hops, spruce/grass. Pours a dark copper/brown with a creamy tan head, mostly lasting and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy a touch watery, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter and a little astringent. Not bad.

Zlotta (3035) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2016
0.33 l bottle from Biermuda as Emelisse BIPA, best before December 2017. Clear, very dark brown to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny and slightly roasty aroma of tropical fruits, pine and dark chocolate. Sweetish, roasty-malty, fruity-resiny and a bit soapy taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, tangerine, mango, orange and some pine, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, creamy, slick mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very tasty! Great, intense hop profile and really pleasant mouthfeel, well-balanced.
