Poured deep hazy amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of soft creamy malt and light citrus. Medium body, flavour of bitter hops and a dry finish.
Picked up the Saaz version of this beer at the ABC brewing company in the Hague. Very dry aftertaste, astringent. The taste itself is slightly citrusy but mostly acidic. jmgreenuk (9317) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUL 2, 2013
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy dark amber with a thin, long-lasting white head. The aroma is hoppy with a little citrus fruit. The flavour is medium to strong bitter, with some hints of liqourice from the alcohol and a somewhat sweet fruity palate and finish. A very decent double IPA and my first Saaz single hop beer, but Saaz is not the best hop to use in a beer on its own. bierkoning (13272) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle. Amber color. Soft grassy aroma. Full bodied. Heavy grassy hopflavor. Citrus notes. Sharp, but low on carbon. A real hopbomb. The balance is questionable, the saaz is quite dominant, but the beer is delicious. deanso (10070) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JUN 19, 2013
