Maris (1440) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - AUG 14, 2014
From a 330ml bottle on 14/8/2014. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium head. Has a very pleasant aroma dominated by honey and lemon. Flavour wise, it features sweet stone fruit (peach, apricot), lots of honey, some light caramel malt, and a really assertive, lingering, resiny, slightly salty hop bitterness. The palate is quite creamy and the carbonation is average. Very balanced and packed full of flavour, I became increasingly impressed as it warmed. A very good and quite distinctive DIPA.

Geiserich (4329) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 5, 2014
Bottle: Aroma of malt, candy, grapefruit, pine, resin. Hazy orange color, creamy off-white head. Flavor is malty sweet, caramelic, dark sugar. Intensive notes of hopiness with mainly raisin and pine, but also herbs and fruitiness. Decent.

Nice floral and citrus aroma with some peach and malty notes too. The taste has a faint honey malt sweetness first up before quickly giving way to grapefruit and bitterness with a very dry, bitter finish. Fairly full bodied. Pretty good overall.

bieremoi (36) - FRANCE - JUN 21, 2014
Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a centimeter of off-white frothy head that dissipates quickly but has light lacing. Tart and bitter mouthfeel, not very floral or fruity. Piney hops. Its got a nice flavor but one has to appreciate the bitterness because it would seem unbalanced. I think Emelisses TIPA is better, but this is pretty solid.

Botte @ Emelisse brewery. Pours orange with slight haze. Malt and citrus nose. Nice bitterness but not lasting very long. A steady DIPA.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAY 19, 2014
330 ml bottle at home. Pours clear golden oragne with a slight white head. Pineapple aromas with slight peach and a decent dose of green pine. Serious amount of bitterness on the palate, immediately drying out, lacks a bit of that extra sweet touch. Aroma is pure grapefruit. Decent.
