Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2. HBC 342 version. Very hazy amber gold beer, big pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Some malt cream. Big skunky hops with orange citrus underneath. Finishes smooth and creamy. Really got the skunk character from these hops.

Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013
On tap at Borefts BF 2012, Bodegraven. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Big urine hop aroma, some dank citrus, moderate onions. Big sweet flavor with herbal grass, dank citrus fruits, sugary hay and a bit of onion. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Moderately resinous to finish with ripe and dank citrus. A touch heavy but not bad.

Bottle at the apartment in Utrecht with Chris, Ruth, Jan and Riitta. Golden beer with a rich offwhite head. Toffee aroma, vanilla, biscuits, candy, some sweet fruits. Malty plastic labor, glue, caramel, toffee, some floral notes. Bad beer and far from the style it is supposed to be.

330ml bottle (Uba ja Humal, Haapsalu)
Initially a lovely fresh hoppy citrussy aroma, but later sniffs are way sweeter and mashier. Taste is harsh dirty resiny and earthy bitterness. Palate full and sweet, almost sticky, but decent carbonation. Want to scrape my tongue afterwards. Looks decent, hazy orange, and a sticky off-white head.

brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Pours a cloudy golden amber color with a white head. Sweet malt aroma of caramel and toffee. A mild alcohol note and lots of citrus and floral hop notes. A decent citrus flavor with a some floral hops and a light hop bitterness. A good amount of caramel sweetness with just a mild alcohol.
