Bottle. Bottled 01/06/2009; Drank Feb 2010 - Orangey Amber in colour. Very hoppy; very resinous oily piney hops. Very fruity; bitter orange and grapefruit citrus, orange peel. Malty; sweet malts, caramel. Alcohol quite noticeable. Bitter citrus hops overpower the sweet malts. Long very bitter hoppy finish. (2010-02)

imdownthepub (14556) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2016
Bottled, aged 5.5yrs from The Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. Clouded orange amber with white head. There is a fuller, fruity, malty body to this, quite big on the palate with a fruity alcohol kick. The hops are still very apparent, drying, bitter with a herbal, resinous type character. Good depth, good beer.

rouhlas (3616) - GREECE - JUL 10, 2015
330l bottle. Light hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, piney, light fruity. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Emelisse (nl) Double ipa.

Poured a murky medium amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and caramel malt. Medium to full body, flavour is sweet heavy malt and bitter hops.

(Bottle claims 11% abv) Dark amber/cider color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, some fruit, & hops; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel/toffee, hops, fruit, and citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Overall, more of a barleywine - taste is somewhat muddled.

NikkTwist (3225) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Draft at Monks. Hazy orange amber pour. Off-white foam that leftsome runny lace. High IBUs. Dry finish but a lot of honey up front. Well blended. Feels a bit like a mild barleywine. Not a bad thing.

kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Poured from draft at Local Option. Very cloudy orange pour with white bubbles lacing rim. Dense fruit aroma and can smell the booze. Love the taste. Bananna, orange, grapefruit, slight bitter and hops - just good

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours reddish amber colored with small head. Smells hoppy-fruity, oily and slight alcoholic. Starts with flat carbonation. Aroma is fruity-hoppy, with lots of resin and pine woods. Middle part is creamy and fruity with lots of pine woods and some caramel. Goes into a bitter-dry hoppy finish with some fruits and lots of pine wood!
