Geokkjer (7642) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 19, 2012
[email protected] Pours deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, hay, biscuits, fruitiness and grassy hops. Flavor is sweet and bitter with some caramel, malt, fruitiness, grassy hops and biscuits. Medium body, average carbonation.

Braudog (6791) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Bottle, although mine’s labeled as 7.5% Nice light amber hue with a standing head of tight bubbles. The aroma is flourishing and floral. This drinks with a decidedly perfumed character, complete with an almost soapy finish. The alcohol lingers for quite some time, cloying and assaulting the palate. (#4435, 1/7/2012)

Pour is a hazy ornage with a large white head. Aroma is honeydew with some pine. Flavor is a little better with a decent hoppy backbone and a decent malt base. Finish is sweet but bitter. It’s ok and probably better fresher than the bottle I have.

11.16 oz bottle
Aroma: slight hop character/ pine/citrus/ spice/ fruit, caramel malts, bready malts
Appearance: cloudy, orange/copper
Taste: faded hops/pine/citrus/fruity/floral, bready, caramel
Overall: I will have to try this fresh in the Netherlands, not a bad beer, it just was not fresh. Now time to start planning a trip.

rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 9, 2011

SlovakSniper (5561) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 6, 2011

[email protected] Hunters, Pori (ABV 7.5 %)
Dark ruby-amber color, small off-white head. Sticky berryish, hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite witty hoppyness, light pale malty backbone, some alcohol. Long lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent.

Borresteijn (7346) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 20, 2011
33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, ABV 7.9%. Slightly hazy amber colour, thin creamy off white head. Aroma of leafy hops, bitter oranges, orange peel, sugar. Flavour is bitter oranges, quite harsh leafy grassy bitterness, light malty, caramel, bitter grassy finish. Medium bodied. Not very balanced imo.
