TtV (469) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 11, 2015
Bottle 33cl. Dark brown with a ruby glow. Off white head. Aroma of fruit and malts. The taste is nothing as expected. It starts mildly bitter and develops into a frenzy of fruits, spices and bitterness. The aftertaste leaves a glow of alcohol.

Bornyensis (321) - BELGIUM - DEC 10, 2015
Nogal een zware smaak voor een dubbel, de kleur zit goed: donkerbruin, voldoende schuimkraag.

sjogro (4755) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2015
Lekkere bruisende dubbel met beetje kauwgomballen zoetheid. Backlog from 2015/01/31.

Patjeadam (158) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 25, 2015
A little sour in the nose. First sip shows the rich malts, some dried red fruits, a little sugar, some hidden spices and a very nice little bitter aftertaste. It has not that much carbonization and it is a little sticky. Very well done dubbel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)

Gurthnar (6201) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - NOV 24, 2015
Bottle from Damian. Quite good beer executed true to style. Lightly hazy brown colour and a soft head with moderate duration. Rich malty character with dried fruits and caramel flavours, only subtle yeasty spiciness and bitterness in the background. Balanced and relatively easy drinking for a 7,5% ABV beer. Alcohol hidden well.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2015
Bottle: Chouffe glass: Creamy head. Deep dark ruby ish bidy. Aroma has lots of caramel, some malts, dried leaves, some prunes and raisins... Bit creamy... Flavour is malty with many caramel tones, some bitters, dried leaves, raisin/prunes, toast and bready... Aftertaste is malty, toast, raisin, caramel, light caramel... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Decent, easy drinker, ok...

Wim (4160) - Weelde, BELGIUM - OCT 31, 2015
Along with Yves at his home hazy dark brown colored body with an off white head and a chocolate malt hop aroma a chocolate malt hop sweet taste with a bitter finish

thirstyrabbit (1851) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 26, 2015
Bottle. Murky light brown body, small head for the style. Weak aroma, mostly raisins and light cocoa. Quite watery mouthfeel and as a result of this neglect the 7,5% ABV comes sharply through. Taste has some more raisins and cocoa but the body is really light and unbalanced. Dry finish with cocoa powder and alcohol. This is clearly a below average Dubbel. Could have been more reasonable with the "reported" 6,5% ABV.

Yves (3134) - Turnhout, BELGIUM - OCT 25, 2015
Shared with wim at my home. Hazy light brown colored beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Malty spiced aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hopped bitter malty bit alcoholic hints.
