Alengrin (5340) - BELGIUM - AUG 10, 2014
Dubbel, Belgian-style abbey beer, tasted when it was still brewed at De Halve Maan in Hulst; dark brown, sweetish caramelly taste, bit toasty, dark fruits, quite thin mouthfeel, alcohol noticeable in the finish and not well-hidden. It’s impressive how Emelisse has grown since this.

MonsterMagnet (1444) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours dark amber with an off white head. Aroma: caramel, light roast, earthy. Taste: caramel, prunes, raisins, dried apricot, nuts, bread. Medium sweet, light bitterness. Light-medium body, medium carbonation. It does have something going for it, but feels rather thin.

angelkostvo (1233) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 20, 2014
Dark ruby colour, almost no head. Aroma of candy sugar, licorice, reisins. Taste is light to medium sweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation.

Hanoi (951) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2014
Nose is hazelnut, slight caramel, little sugar. Taste is nut, leading to coco, slight burnt sugar, light toffee. Mouthfeel is very thin. It avoids being oversee which sinks some abbey’s but it lacks depth beyond a certain nutty amiability.

Buongiorgio00 (934) - - JUN 2, 2014
Dubbel molto classica, con uno sfondo dolce, note di frutta candita, prugne e una leggerissima nota di luppolo. Decente da bere ed equilibrata.

mkam (409) - POLAND - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours dark copper with a medium head. Aroma of Belgian yeasts, dark fruits, plums. Taste of malt, bread, rum, prunes. Medium body and carbonation. Preetty nice drink, yet nothing above average.

paulvanpelt (627) - Reusel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 5, 2014
Mistig, hazelnootbruin bier. Schuim verdwijnt snel. Aroma van gebrande mouten, caramel, koffie, hop. Bitter met een zuurtje. Medium body.

2.9
rikstar (2604) - NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2014
0,33l fles gedeeld met bryanvdv. Flesje stond goed onder druk, aroma is caramel en een beetje alcohol smaak is vrij vlak beetje gist / brood. Tamme dubbel had iets meer verwacht van dit Brouwhuis.
