UPDATED: NOV 3, 2011

17/10/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 3/2011 (2011-557)

Pretty clear, deep red brown beer, creamy yellow solid head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very ripe to rotten fruits, some banana, bready malts, some dried fruits. I’m gonna forget the rotten fruits, because it’s 7 months past date. MF: very soft carbon, full body. Taste: mocha and soft roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, slightly sour fruitiness. Aftertaste: bit sour, more mocha and coffee hints, green bananas. Good stuff, very good stuff!

Bottle at home, bought in the brewery. Taste is malty with some roasted malt. Just the combination bockbeer should have. Thin but creamy head, slightly sticky in the mouth. Nice spicy aroma. True Dutch Bock.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with bartlebier, thanks!
Dark brown, little but stable head. The aroma reminds on dark chocolate, coffee, nuts with notes of yeast. Tastes a bit smokey with an intensive dark maltiness and some red fruits and plums. Full body, creamy texture.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle:
Medium to smaller sized, vast, thick, clean, creamy (with a yellow tint), colored head, changes slowly into a thick lacing on top of a deep dark blackish brown colored beer.
Smell barley malts, nuts, oat, toasted corn, autumnal herbs, toffee, some prunes and raisin,
Taste lot of toasted herbs and spices, some liquorice, more liquorice wood, autumnal herbs, toffee, prunes, nice bitterness, some toasted grass, nutty bitter tones and some creamy bitter floral hop and malt hits. Nice tasty beer.
Aftertaste is toffee, prunes, autumnal herbs, bitter and toasted grassy spices.
Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, good medium boded and a creamy texture.
Very nice mouthfeel and taste. Nice!

Bottle from Bierkoning. Clear dark red pour with thin tan foam. Aroma is very toasty, toasted grain really put forward with rich caramelized malt notes following. Taste is sweeter, rich burnt caramel, light toasted grain, a hint of raisin bread. Palate is med-full and aggressively carbed but leaves a long smooth lingering finish. Very robust bock, without ever being over the top. Yum

Pours out of the bottle with a strong creamy head. The aroma has hints of nuts and needles of coniferous trees in it. The taste is fresh and quite less sweet than one might expect from a Bock. Also here, taste notes of smoked wood are apparent. In general it is smooth, well rounded and soft in taste.
