Color: nice deep black beer with no carbonation and small brown foam. Smell: licorice, sweet, malt and good peat presence. Taste: high malt and peat domination with sweet and sugar. Aftertaste: nice licorice and peat.

Bottle from Bier&zo, Rotterdam. Jet black. Blacker than the night, my friend. All that barrel is right there in the glass as it pours - savoury smoke. Little brown head. Thick in the mouth, carbonation spot on. Layers of rich, deep roast - everything from new shoes to a joint of beef in the oven. Then the finish is pure Bowmore - iodine, salt, big smoke and charred wood. Superb.

0.33l bottle. Deep dark brown color, thin dark beige head. Aroma of whisky, alcohol, perfume, spices, and burnt malt. On my tongue I can feel respectively: sweet caramel, burnt malt, and bitter hopped whisky with coffee. The closing one is really heavy and lasts pretty long. Overall, this thing is strong and drinkable, so be circumspect...

bursprak (3283) - Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2013
Tasting @ Voldby. Smukt skum. Olieagtig konsistens. Blød fin smag uden at alkoholen brænder igennem, en af de bedste indtil videre.

ElManana (2079) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - OCT 19, 2013
Pitch black - offwhite head. Nice high smokey, ashtray, ashes, whiskey, high malty, vineous, nutty, red berries, burned, light chocolate. Nice.

Habanero (4798) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2013
Bottled. Pours opaque black with a huge, lacing beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, coffee and whiskey notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with bitter notes. Full bodied, creamy text. and flat carb. An excellent impy. indeed.
