Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of whisky, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Flavor was lightly sweet with chocolate, whisky, vanilla, oak and had a touch of coffee. Smooth texture, medium body, soft carbonation. AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Tap - @ RHP. Pours brown cola with scarlet highlights. No real head. Nose of grapes. Grapes! Taste is all whiskey, hints of grapes (!), red berries, slight chocolate. Lots of whiskey and fruit. Expectations breed disappointing results, but there is really no oak, no vanilla, and no real depth. Interesting and different. Finishes as you'd expect, thin and boozy. Waiting for the warmth to kick in... Still boozy. Still grapey. slechtvalk (20) - ISLE OF MAN - JAN 7, 2013
Geweldig bier, complex, gebalanceerd, mooie kleur en een erg fijne whiskey smaak.
