Borefts Beer Festival 3. Opaque black beer, residual tan head. Light semi dry palate. Minerals. The dark malt is not too heavy and has a touch of lacto sweetness. The smoke is also quite mild. What could have been a difficult beer is quite light and drinkable.

bottle at de molen festival ... deep dark roast ... big whiskey ... deep dark roast nose ... dark malts ... big chocolate roas... dark roast ... again too much whsikey ... but solid chololate ... mix this with some non ba and it could be a winner.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein tiefschwarzes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch rauchig, holzig, stark röstmalzig, Kaffee, alkoholisch. Geschmack stark röstmalzig, schwarzer Kaffee, holzig, leicht säuerlich.

Borefts 2011. Peat aroma, like a skibsøl. Black colour. Small brown head. Imperial skibsøl. A bit rough. Too peaty for me, I guess.
