UPDATED: FEB 27, 2009 From tap at ’t Arendsnest, 2009 version. Pours pitch black with a dense creamy and chocolate brown head. Roasted, breadish and chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate and hardroasted malt flavoured just beneath. Distinct roasted and hops bitterness coming through. Mild cidic touch from the roasted malt although the flavour is rather smooth. Sweet chocolate and bitter hops finish. Great brew.
