Bardzo ciemny brazowy kolor w ladne bezowa piana. Czuc duzo czekolady i slodkiej kawy, palona goryczka na srednim poziomie i lekko kwaskowy finisz. Polpelne cialo z niskim wysyceniem i delikatnie wyczuwalnym alkoholem.

Version aus 2012 aus der Flasche 2016-12 getrunken. Die Süsse in dem paar Jahren alten Bier hat sich gut in ein sehr ausgewogenen Stout umgewandelt. Sehr stimmig und sehr lecker.

Appearance-wise, this is one of the most beautiful beers I’ve ever seen. Pitchblack, with a gorgeous ’coffee-with-cream’color head. Thick and oily mouthfeel, slightly carbonated. The aroma is intense as could be, full of roasted malts, black strong coffee and chocolate, nutty and berries/cassis, herbal. Hint of wood and vanilla. The taste is really nearly identical to the aroma, with the coffee bitternes being the strongest flavour, but accompanied by sweet fruits and a licorice presence. The finish is what you’d expect from a good IRS, espresso and sweetness. This beer is beyond genious, but you need to appreciate a normal stout to begin with I feel. Not for faint of heart or those who like a light lager.

Bottle. Pours with a massive light brown head over a clear, black body. A touch overcarbonated. An engaging aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, berries and alcohol. Tastes of the same. Body is a touch thin, finishes with a pleasant bitterness. Nice.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 17, 2017
330ml bottle. Cap comes off very easily, almost like it’s open. Pours out very fizzy. Very dark brown color. Huge size, brown head, stays. Roast, coffee, dark chocolate in aroma. Sweet, bit sourish, roast, coffee, grainy and somewhat herbal in taste. Heavy roast and coffee in aftertaste. Alcohol is almost covered. Solid brew.

0,33 l bottle from Just In Beer, Groningen. 3,35 €. Stands 8 weeks or so in my shelf but has a lot of pressure in the bottle. Pours out pitch black and oily. Huge beige head, nearly gushing in the glass. Too much in my opinion. A massive aroma attack on the nose. Taste starts relative smooth for that abv, choco and coffee, malt and vanilla in the background, fuity. Very complex mouthfeel, warming. Increasing fruity and alcoholic in the second part. Little bit sticky to the end. Long lasting coffee. Great brew! Better than any ABI ever.

From 33cl bottle. Pours black with very limited brown foam. Aroma is coffee, hazelnut, and candy sugar. Body is medium but with quote some stickiness. Just a bit of astringency. Taste is sweet at first, followed immediately by intense bitterness. Finish, however, is sweet again and long.
