On tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Black with a large, greamy brown head. Coffee, roasted and wooden notes on the nose. Full bodied. Pungent with roasted notes and sweet liquorice. Smoth as silk. Long sweet and roasted finish. What a treasure!

2018-01-19 - 0,33 L Fl. Fast schwarz, beiger, feinporiger stabiler Schaum. Aroma: Bitterschokolade, leichte Kaffeenote Antrunk: Malz, Bitterschokolade, Kaffee, im Ausklang etwas bitter. Gut!

Bottle. Dark brown beer with quite large (too large) beige head. Aroma of strong coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, plums. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter, coffee, plums, roasty, licorice and some chocolate, dried fruits. Roasty and light fruity bitter finish. Medium+ body, average to lively carbonation. Tasty, but overcarbonated.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 From 0.33 L bottle; pours deep black, and thick with a very small, light brown head. Heavy malty aroma, slightly caramel. Medium bitter finish. Light to medium carbonation. Medium to full body. A very round one.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2018 Amazing russian imperial stout. I like black ipas so this is like drinking black ipa multiplying to million. Fully flavour with lots of nice flavours. Quite dry, bitter and sour.

Bottle. Hiper gushing, but, besides that, it has no signs of spoil. Very plummy, sweet cherries, preserves, chocolate, coffee. Pimped imperial porter a bit. Quite sweet, with sour hints. Average body, quite dense, -1 for the carbonation.

Dark brown with a medium light-brown head. Aroma is cocoa, caramel and roasted malt. Taste is coffee, cocoa and malt

Psytron (2564) - Turku, FINLAND - NOV 16, 2017
No smell. Cola colour, extreme brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, red berries, some oak, some alcohol. *Very* light body for this strength. Dry palate, light texture, rather flat carbon. Very bitter with some sweetness.

Pours a pitch black color with a huge tan-colored head with low retention. Aroma has cocoa, caramel, toffee and roasted malts. Moderately light body due to carbonation. Taste follows the nose, roasted malts, cocoa, slightly coffee, brown sugar, caramel and slightly smoke.

Marko (6290) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 4, 2017
Thanks Sandi! Almost pitch black, very dark brown body, with a dark tan head, brownish. Chocolate and caramel in the aroma, no, actually cocoa with caramel. Sweetish maltiness, nice and clean. Full taste, chocolate, but not that "dark", interesting fruity touch (green fruit?) on a solid maltiness. Well hidden ABV. Interesting. A very good RIS, but not the best one around.
