Big vanilla nose. Then you get a cinnamon and crème brulle flavour, burnt crème brulle and then some more cinnamon. You get a big finish and then some burnt cinnamon on the finish, maybe, just maybe too much cinnamon. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 20, 2013
Very sticky cinnamon and vanilla. Dense dragging vanilla, oaty and rich - dripping in well thought malt and pernickity sweetness. Not a terribly impressive push towards sickly sweet finish that I’d hoped for a pancake stacked dry bready finsh drowned in brulee sweetness. Wee bit dank sweaty malt finish. cgarvieuk (24499) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 20, 2013

Bottle from Benzai, thanks! Almost black and opague. cacao, chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Full bodied. Chocolate, malt, cacao, plums and grapes in the flavor. Sweet, with some bitterness and bite from the chocolate. Low on carbon. Nice. ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2013
75cl bottle thanks to benzai @ RBBSG II. Pours brown with orange highlights and a beige head. Smell is burnt sugar, candy corn, caramel - huge nose. The taste is roasted malt, caramel and it ends hoppy and dry. Medium/full in body with mild carbonation.

Black colour, beige head. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, quite sweet. Very sweet flavour, caramel, milk chocolate, sweet vanilla pudding and light condensed milk. Light bitter finish, lots of lingering sweet vanilla. Nice experiment, I love crème brûlée and was curious to this one. Interesting, though I wouldn’t drink the whole bottle by myself.

Clear dark brown beer, small irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, vanilla, sweet, burnt caramel, bit of sweet chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of caramel, weird sourness, sugary, some vanilla, bit of mocha, little bitter. Aftertaste: caramel and slightly sugary, dairy products. Maybe it’s unfair to compare to S.T. Crème Brûlée?
Sampled from bottle @ RBBSG II. Pitch black color, small light brown head. Smell "hopjesvla" sweetness and yuk. Taste malts, dark malts, lightly some hops and fortunately, thank god, no "hopjesvla". Medium body and carbonation. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2013
75cl bottle courtesy of benzai @ RBBSG II. Emelisse’s take on Southern Tier Crème Brûlée? in any case, a much better result in this dutch version.
77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 11, 2013
Courtesy of Benzai. Thx! 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. Nice label. Pours a murky dark brown with little head. Smell is very strong, lots of heavy Eastern-Europe chocolate, very, very sweet, touch condensed milk, huger brown sugar,… Taste actually starts out unlike as suggested by the nose with bitterness, bitter chocolate and roast followed by very sweet Eastern-Europe chocolate, brown sugar, syrup, bitter herbs in the finish, chocolate milk mix, cocoa, enjoyable but also a very mixed and messy combination of elements. Med, touch sticky & grainy body. Not bad but a poor mans Creme Brulee.
