[Note: old rating from June 2011] Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Clear yellow color, small white head. Smell light citrus, grassy and pilsener malts. Taste pretty bitter with pretty strong and lively carbo. Medium body. ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 9, 2012
Bottle traded with Bierkoning, thank you! Straw-golden with a short-lived head. Aroma is bready-malty with some honey-floral notes. I sense very little hops. Taste is on the other hand dominated by hops. It is very bitter, although the bitterness, while pleasant in itself, fails to carry any significant aroma. It almost completely smacks down this beer’s maltiness failing to provide anything in return. Pretty much aromaless brew with a nice bitterness. Disappointing. (Bottled) Easy to sink , light and breezy . It is perhaps one of the things i crave most in beer , good Pils. My Pilseners by preferance are dryier than this , with the sweet bready malts being an undercurant , they’ve got it on reverse here ,but its pleasant drinking . tderoeck (10335) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 4, 2011

3/07/2011 from tap @ Emelisse lunch with Han Hidalgo (2011-309)
Cloudy pale yellow beer, creamy white head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, citrus, yeast, floral. MF: light carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, citrus notes, yeast is very present. Aftertaste: very bitter ending, a bit watery finish.
Had this one @ Bierbrouwerij Grand-Café Emelisse. Hazy yellow colored brew. Aroma is malty, some citrus, some grassy hops. Flavor has sweetness, malty, some grains and faint hops. Dry.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2009
The beer has a clear golden color and a bitter taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a malty touch. This beer smells malty.
(Bottled) Hazy golden with a large, foamy and lacy head. Quite strong, maybe even slightly stingy aroma of grassy hops, birch leaves, some citrus. Flavor is grassy-hoppy and birchy-citrusy with quite nice, pale-malty body and a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with fizzy carbonation, quite refreshing. A sharp, but nicely grassy and well-made, unfiltered pilsener with a solid malty body. Probably quite fresh, too, as the BBE was 2010 or 2011. MiP (15981) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2008
Bottle, 5%. Weak fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Semi-clean flavour, a little thin. Low to medium bitternesss, slightly sharp. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - AUG 4, 2007
Draught Quite hazy greenish yellow with a small white head leaving lace. Grassy, and VERY malty nose, as the grist being shoveled into the mashtun. Again very malty taste, with a fine spicey surrounding, and something lemony. Very watery MF, but undeniably refreshing, thanks to the lemony quality. Better than usual housebrew Pilsnere, but a tad too malt-oriented. Ungstrup (38585) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2007
Bottled. A yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy primarily giving it notes of straw. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with notes of straw, leading to a dry end. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky.
