Echon (428) - rhus, DENMARK - OCT 27, 2016
Black. Roasted barley, liquorice and caramel in the aroma, and a similar, full flavour. Sweet, but not overly sweet, taste, and a dry and bitter finish with notes of coffee and ash. Full body, with a smooth texture. Overall, a great porter. Big taste for 7% abv. Heavy and somewhat sweet, and more simple than complex, but very tasty.

Maris (1425) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 18, 2016
From a 330ml bottle on 18/5/2016. Pours a deep brown with the barest of heads. The aroma is quite nutty, with lots of chocolate and just a hint of coffee. Sweet chocolate idominates the flavour wise, again with a touch of coffee, some nuts and roasty malt, feeding into a pretty decent hop bitterness. Has quite a creamy texture with modest carbonation. This is a really classy porter - quite dessert like, but with more hops than youd expect (has just a hint of black IPA about it). Very nice indeed.

SlackerMads (3161) - DENMARK - DEC 6, 2015
Bottle received in the European swap, thanks to Benzai. Dark brown close to black with a medium sized tan head. Nose has wood, dried green plants, dust, chocolate, roasted malt, cardboard. Flavour is similar with roasted malt, wood, green plants, sherry, caramel/brown sugar, cardboard. Medium body, oily texture, some initial sweetness, long bitter finish. Pedestrian and overly bitter.

Aragh (241) - POLAND - NOV 20, 2015
Pełne i głębokie, dosyć ciężkie.

Undetermined and unusual floral aroma. Very shy and tiny head. Heavy roasting for a porter. Rich and full on in the mouth.
