Thanks bierkoning! Dark brown color, small steady beige head. Toasted and also slightly fruity aroma with hints of licorice and barnyard. Medium-bodied. Smooth and "clean" mouthfeel. Roasted with pleasant espresso flavors and light hoppyness. Nicely balanced strong porter.
On tap at Haand Festival. It pours a dark brown body under a dense, finger thick tan head. The aroma is of the roasted kind, with chocolate and some bonfire notes. There’s some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s actually quite dryish. Roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, hintsof bonfire and a nice piney bitterness. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. Tasteful and easy drinkable this one, even at 7% ABV. 140524 FatPhil (16390) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 28, 2015
330ml bottle - thanks KairiDedollewaitor (16178) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2013
Slightly dishwatery aroma, dirty dark malts, a little raw. Dark, large spongy head. Not getting the alcohol. Husky burntness in taste, dirtiness becomes character. Finish nicely bitter, good old noble hops, nicely white peppery. Grows on you. The weaknesses turn into interesting character traits after the first sip.
Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival, 2013. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head and lacings. Roast, chocolate and mild ashes. Smooth. Decent.
