Nose full of coffee, smooth and aroma-full. Hints of orange, very smooth coffee, milk-chocolate. Great deep in flavour. The aftertaste is smooth, very nice coffee-chocolate. Great! 14/13/14/14 Gangstergafje (1349) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2015
Beautiful far ruby red color. It has that lovely porter/stout appearance. The layer of creamy foam has that ice almond color. It has a familiar porter aroma of roasted barley, chocolate and some toffee in the distance but also some floral hoppy aroma’s. There is also a nice herbal cinnamon aroma. Not manny porters have those hoppy aroma’s. It gives the porter a whole new dimension. The taste is devine. It totally represents the smell. Nice full mouth and nice sparkle for a porter.

33cl bottle at home. Dark brown with a small tan head. Medium to full body with light carbonation. Sweetness combined with some herbal bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee, dark fruits, some wood and vanilla. A very tasty porter! androman (2937) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 6, 2015
33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis Oost, Utrecht.
Body is clear, dark brown,
Head is extremely big, brownish, rocky, mostly lasting, excellent lacing.
Nose is coffee,
Aroma is dark roasted coffee, toast, coal, dark chocolate.
Taste is light sweet, heavy bitter.
Finish is long lasting heavy roasty bitter, later also hoppy.
Full body, oily feel, lively carbonation - grows in my mouth.
Simple, strong flavor, not too heavy still massive, great one.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Black with a small mocha head. Nose is creamy roast, burned malts & mocha, caramel, sweet. Taste is clearly porter but a lot creamier than most examples from the style, coffee, touch milk with sugar, caramel, burned coffee & reasonably corasted malt, sweet chocolate. Very creamy body for the style. Another nice offering from Emelisse. Moolesen (626) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle 33cl. Black with a brown head. Coffee and malt aroma and some toast. Very rich taste which includes coal, tar, coffee and some fruit at the end. A long lasting finish completes this great beer. Travlr (26423) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Bottle from the source. Dark maroon brown, beige head. Aroma of very roasty coffee grounds and an espresso pot left on the burner too long. Taste has bitter dark chocolate, burnt coffee, dark winter fruit. Delicious.
