On tap @Borefts fest 2012.
Pours of perfectly clear copper color white a good white head.
Aroma is mostly malt sweetness and vanilla.
Taste is more interesting, dark fruits, some oak caracter, alcohol is suprisingly huge.
Taste is good and complex, but alcohol wave ruins it.

The beer is amber in color with a white head. A fair amount of booze on the nose with a bit of a nail polish remover note. Somewhat perfumey, too. There is a lot of sweet caramel malt, some toast, and a bit of whiskey. A bit better on the palate as there is some fruit character, a nice maltiness, and whiskey flavor. Mild oak and vanilla notes, but still fairly hot and alcoholic. LoFi (1718) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2012
Bottle, thanks to MrHangover!
Hazy orange amber with a small porous head that dissolves into a ring.
Aroma: sweet maltiness, boozy, whiskey, toffee, fruit, vinous.
Taste: toffee, sweet whiskey (haven’t had Jack D in a good 10 years or so, but it was never a favourite), fruity, red berries, light earthy. The finish is light tart and wood.
A bit too boozy, plus the whiskey flavours (which aren’t even from a very good whiskey) take over a bit. Otherwise it’s pretty good. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 28, 2012
from Erzbierschof - cloudy dirty brown colour with no foam; some woody tones with notes of caramel and hints of grass and lemon; thick and full-bodied, some sweetness and a solid bitterness; low carbonation; long lasting bitterness with some residual sugars and long woody and caramelish, grassy tones Plovmand (8311) - Helsinge, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle at home. Trade via Borresteijn. It pours hazy amber with a creamy off white head. The aroma is dark fruity with notes of bourbon, vanilla, malt and bisquits. The flavour is heavy malty with lots og bourbon notes. Sweet caramel and ripe fruit.

Deep amber colour with no head. Aroma is sweetr malts, some sweet hops along with some whisky sweetness as well. Also mild vanilla. Flavour is the same in a very nice balance, although a bit more alcohol can be found in the flavour.
